A transporter device that moves occupants in a semi seated position. This manually operated stand up lifter is designed to assist with standing transfers from a seated position e.g. chair, toilet, and edge of bed. The occupant needs to have the ability to weight bear evenly through their legs and arms [i.e. to pull themselves up into a standing position]. Only one model available.

Features of the ArjoHuntleigh Stedy Transporter:

• Stainless steel frame.

• The seat consists of two winged padded seat supports that swing under and lock to provide an angled seat for the occupant. The occupant is facing the attendant whilst being pushed.

• The footplate is covered with slip resistant material.

• The knee pad is contoured and padded.

• Four swivel castors with the front two castors being lockable.

• The two seat sections lift up to allow access to and from a chair or toilet. The footplate and knee pad are attached to the frame and the occupant uses a cross bar to pull themselves up. When the occupant is semi- standing the attendant folds down the seat sections so the occupant can sit.

• Back support strap for additional security.

• It is recommended that prior to using the product, training in manual handling and the correct use of assistive devices should be undertaken.
